Looking for a fast and easy way to fill in a 2d object. Step 1.) Arrange 3d objects for illustration. Step 2.) Project to 2D. Step 3.) Need to fill individual parts with yellow!!!.....
Any ideas?
Dan - which tool do you use? IsoDraw CadProcess ?
Oh sorry, IsoDraw 7.3
The easiest way is to work with "Contour sets"
Look at here: Re: Managing details and contours in IsoDraw
Here's an extract from the manual:
About Contour Sets
A contour set is a named collection of 3D objects, such as parts in a subassembly, that are highlighted with the same color when you project them to 2D. The highlight is a flat-shaded color fill inside each object’s projected 2D contour.
1.You can use the fill color tool in Palette window for a closed path.
2.Second way is, duplicate the part and make a bezier path of outlines of the line art to be filled and fill color with fill window.
later place the filled layer behind the original line art.
I would suggest you to create a new color set in fill window and make use of it to fill easily.
Hope it helps.
