Sketcher intent manager does not horizontally or vertically constrain sketched geometry points.

Sketcher intent manager does not horizontally or vertically constrain sketched geometry points.

Sketcher intent manager does not horizontally or vertically constrain sketched geometry points. While it does automatically dimension them, it will not assume horizontal or vertical constraints when sketching geometry points in proximity to already placed sketched points.

The work around for this is to sketch construction centerlines for the geometry points to snap to or manually add horizontal/vertical constraints.

If this functionality is added it should work the same as sketching holes with intent manager. Horizontal and vertical constraints are automatically added if the sketched hole is in line with other existing sketched holes. This enhancement would be a considerable productivity increase.

It doesn't do this by default, but you can sure add these constraints after the points are placed.  However, I do agree that if you hover over a previously placed point, it should attempt to create a horizontal or vertical alignment constraint.  It does this all too often for other feature types, why not points?
