This is one puzzling to me in a big way, as someone who's been modeling for 17 years in Alias and now transitioning ot ProE - why in the world you have a styling module that's essentially its own sub-modeling environment, separated from the rest of the tools? This makes as much sense as working the same project on 2 different computers in 2 separated rooms. Your styling module has the obvious improvements and basically an evolution of your "normal" sketcher curves and boundary blend surfacing. So why have that separated into another module?
As the result, you have curves with very specific building workflows and requirements that sometime do, sometimes do not work with sketcher curves, as in you can't even intersect a sketcher curve and a styling one. That's crazy!!! A curve is a curve!! Curves are supposed to be flexitble building structures that should have maximum flexibility and ability to be manipulated in a unified and consistent way.
Even more importantly, your curve manipulation in Creo 2.0 is a horrible, unexplainable mess. Instead of just simple toggle mode swich to turn the curve CVs on and off, you have 2 different ways to bring those controls up hidden under multiple layers, and - WORST OF ALL - behaving differently in sketcher and in style modes. Same goes for the curvature plots - no easy toggle button to just turn them on/off, but cumbersome controls hidden in cofusing layers and tool modes.
Im literally begging you to fix this, take all the styling tools "out of that box", cleanly integrate them into your normal toolbar, and make your curves easily controllable like in Alias Studio. For your next Creo release, can you please start with this, given that its the most productive improvement to Creo you can make.
Specifically, what I'm requesting above, is that you eliminate 2 different types of curves, sketcher and style, and make the 1 type that can do everything the separate types do now.
Please, yes.
