Update Solid Edge files in Creo Illustrate

If I create an illustration containing a 3D Solid Edge file with the link option, it updates if I edit the native files from the SolidEdge software as would happen with native Creo Parametric files.
Or is there no possibility?

Yes, as long as you used the "Link" option when importing the source data.

Basically a link to the imported file is maintained so that when that file updates depending on your Options>Global>General>Loading - sBOM Generation settings you will either get a prompt that the data has updated or the sBOM will be updated automatically.

Some manual checking of the updated sBOM may be required depending on the nature of the updates.

Yes, they are compatible with the link option.
