o.k., it's a late response, but I think, it's important too.
If you are using Mechanica you can run into trouble with the automatic split
of a cylinder in 2 patches (2 x 180 deg). You are sometimes in the need,
that this half's have the same position, especially for contact analysis.
You can only control this by cut (divide the circle).
