Does anyone have traced a cam profile for a plate follower?

I have to trace a cam profile for a plane follower, as the one of the picture attached.

Is it possibile in Mechanism?

I have tried using the envelope function, but the result is not good.

Yes, I believe it is called a trace-curve.  You pick a location and a reference and it provides a curve based on the current analysis run.

Linear elements are a little difficult to interpret.  To make it a "graph", your reference may want to move linearly to represent angle.

This is pretty powerful and deserves a read if you find a good How-To reference.

What you want is cam synthesis.

You need two bodies with prescribed motion. One rotating with a constant speed and is called the paper body (because the curve will be drawn onto it) and the second in your case will have a slider joint with a prescribed lift curve (from a text file).

Consider a system, like the following

After simulating the kinematics do a trace curve

and pick CAM SYNTHESIS as well as the required parts
