So as the topic states im looking for an easy way to check for "real" interferances in big assemblys. The problem im having is that extremly smal interferances are occuring all over the place so when i run a global interferance check i get 100's of hits.
Most of these are not a problem when the product is physicly put together but if there actually is a "real" interferance somewhere it can be very costly.
So is there a way to get a better overview of interferances or to have pro/e give you a warning when you make 2 parts collide (preferably not for tiny ones) right as you but them together?
Im using Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
Any type of help would be much appreciated!
Hello Ronnie,
You may want to try checking it with global clearance or individual clearance check. you could try tool ike DFMPro for pro/Engineer to check that where you can specify the individual or global clearances for assembly and sub assemblies.

Thanks!
Any help that doesnt require additional software would be much appreciated aswell!
