I'm looking for a way to easily locate balloons on a drawing, ideally specifying the text content of the balloon as a criteria.
Here is the why:
We're considering using revision symbol balloons per ASME Y14.35M-1997, section 5.4. For instance, a balloon containing the letter "B" would be placed adjacent to all items that changed with revision "B". On a subsequent revision I want to be able to very quickly identify and remove the "B" balloons. I can use the highlight function to highlight all notes which includes balloons, but not just balloons specifically (and certainly not based on the text content of the balloon). With find, I can search for drawing items where name is equal to "BALL*" and find all the balloons, but again it's not selective - it's finding all balloons including manually applied pseudo-BOM balloons (thankfully it does not include repeat region BOM balloons). The find-balloons-based-on-text-content isn't fully necessary, the user can peruse the drawing and manually find the rev balloons and remove them. But a highlight or find function based on the text in the balloon would make life much easier for my users.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Erik
