How should I apply the moment of a wrap spring brake to the shaft?

The following pictures are showing a sub-assembly of a wrap spring brake.Brake2.PNGBrake1.PNG
The brake drum that encloses the spring is not shown.
What is the best way to apply the moment of the wrap spring brake to the contact surface (shown in red on the following picture). I don't want to use the spring in my simulation.

If I define the moment at a point on the centerline of the assembly and let it act on the contact surface, the CREO model does not reflect reality. So this seems not the right way to define the situation.

It looks like CREO is ignoring the point on the centreline.
I am grateful for any helpful answer.
Best regards.
