Hello,
I’m working on a 2-speed transmission model in Creo Mechanism, and I need some help setting up the dynamic gear engagement behavior.
The transmission has a neutral, 1st gear, and 2nd gear.
I start the mechanism analysis in neutral condition.
The input shaft is driven by a servo motor rotating at 1000 RPM.
A second servo motor is used for gear shifting (e.g., a sliding collar or actuator).
In neutral, all gear connections should be disengaged.
When the output shaft engages with 1st gear, only 1st gear should be active, others disengaged.
Similarly, in 2nd gear, only the 2nd gear should engage.
All this should happen in one continuous analysis, driven by:
One input servo motor (rotating shaft),
One shifting servo motor (for gear selection).
How can I simulate this type of dynamic gear engagement/disengagement in Creo Mechanism using just one servo motor for input and another for gear shifting?
