Hi

We have a tutorial case of natural convection. https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/r9.0/italian/index.html#page/tutorials_pma/NaturalConvection.html

For import/export BCs, what do you want to import/export? Thanks.

Thank you very much for the information you provided. What I need is the natural heat dissipation when pcb works!  Thank you again!

Hi yes, that tutorial cases explains what needs to do for a heat transfer case with natural convection. The briefly summary is here,

1. add heat module

2. change fluid density as ideal gas law

3. turn on gravity and set gravity direction

4. use mesh location to both(internal+external)

5. specify pressure intial value and also BC values due to gravity change p = rho * g * height

6. run a steady state or transient run

Please contact your support engineer if you need further assistant.

First of all, thank you for your technical support. If you can provide a similar case, every user who sees this problem will thank you !
