The only way I know to determine net volume (contained volume) of a vessel
is to detimine the volume of the item while it is a solid and the calculate
volume (via model properties) after the interior is removed (as by Shell)
and subtract skin volume from solid volume.
This is a hassel because sometimes the container is an agglomeration of
elements (of varying thickness or methods of construction etc) which are
peiced together.
Am I going about this the wrong way?
I wish there was a method to take the finished container/assy and then fill
it to determine net, contained volume.
Thanks for any tips.
