Location of troublesome convergence areas in elastoplastic material run?

Does anyone know of a way, even if it is digging into the text output and locating node or element numbers, to find out where a nonlinear material run is struggling to converge? The Newton-Raphson residuals plots in ANSYS are nice for this type of troubleshooting.

Off the top of my head, you should be able to run the analysis as a "MPA" and then plot the p-level each edge was solved at to see where the higher orders were needed to get to that solved "P-Level order state". This would indicate trouble locations.

MPA is not possible in this case

thanks for confirming...that was my risk in providing the "off the top of my head" reply - I couldn't remember if elastoplastic could be run in MPA without checking directly.
