WF3 M170WF4 M040I am implementing a material file library here to help streamline generating basic weight and CG info from our assemblies and have run into an issue. If a part has a material assigned to it, the material file defines the density of the part, assuming the material file includes the density. That is as expected. What I didn't expect was that I can still go into edit -> setup -> mass props and change the density. This changes the material file attached to the model, but there's no warning that there's a material file and this will change the assigned material. What I'm trying to do is make this somewhat idiot proof and, if a material is assigned, I'd like to prevent changes to mass props information, specifically the density, outside of the context of the material file. Are there any config options or other methods to force changes in the material file rather than the mass props options?Doug SchaeferThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
