Pro-Mechanica?

Hello Friends I got a lot of problems while meshing of a assembly with Pro-Mechanica.I have assembly with two components, I can mesh both the components independently but when I try to mesh the assembly, I got massage "could not creating elements with all the selected entities". and Analysis fails with the massage "completed with the fatal error" & There is not any dignostic massage present. Please suggest me. with regards Rajinder

Hi Rajinder! There are certains thing that can be check to prevent that ,you can check if your model has got some interferences ,or just adjust your "autogem setting" set your maximum and minimum angle of element creation to maximum 179 degree and minimum 1 degree instead of maximum 175 degree and minimum 5 degree. You can check as well your connection ,in wildfire 4.0 you set it from "mechanica model setup",to be bonded,or put a weld or interface connection between the 2 components.Sometimes increasing the number of nodes into difficult edges can help a lot, using autogem control. Finally, always check the validity of your mesh before to go to analysis under autogem info box just after creating your mesh ,click on validate mesh ,it will tell you if your mesh does "satify the limit of creation or not".Try one of those option a see.Hope it will work. You should check also your constraints like align, mate, insert, etc. If they are not fully constrained you can have difficulties with meshing in assembly mode. regards Savas

Hello Mvudi Olivier! Thanks for your comment, It help me alot, My problem was solved by providing min clearance between two components. Now I have another problem,I HAVE TO APPLY MOMENT LOAD ON THE ALL FLANK OF SLINE TOOTH? I have created a cylidrical coordinate and have applied (Force per unit area) in Theta. Pro-mechnica crashes sometimes, some time got massage The design study terminated abnormally. An error has occurred while requesting an additional 1.024 gigabytes of memory from the operating system. To correct this problem, you may need to increase the amount of swap space on your system. You may also need to increase the memory usage limits that are set for your system. For large problems you can also try decreasing the solram allocation setting. At least 1.83373 gigabytes of memory are needed to run this design study. For more information, you can search for the term "swap space" in the online help. With regards Rajinder

Hi Rajinder! About swap space, what you can try to do is to increase your virtual memory its maximum. To do so on your desktop you click on "my computer" and follow those steps. my computer-properties-remote-advanced-performance-settings-advanced-virtual memory. Set the value of that virtual memory to its maximum and run your analysis again based on that setting changed ,let see what happens.Something else you can check again your model, sometime those type of message can be displayed when you have got a modelling issue, modelling is very critical. If it is about meshing wildifre 4.0 shows you the element with problem, which can be improved by putting more nodes or specifying the size of your element(strongly advisable for good accuracy). Please keep me up-to-date. try that, Regards, Olivier Mvudi

Hello Olivier Mvudi! I did the same & it works. thankyou Regards Rajinder

Hello Olivier! When I start meshing of a big transmission housing OVER PRO-MECHANICA, My window crashes & I got massages BAD_POOL_LOADER BAD_POOL_HEADER MIS_IR_ENTRIES like that.. I am clueless about this problem, Please help me! Regards Rajinder
