I have a question about simulation capabilities.
We are machining in a very thin layer of material (0.5 to 1mm thickness) a comb structure, often below the neutral axis of the part. Once we finish the machining, we see a warpage of the parts, mostly linked with the residual machining stress.
We are trying to solve the problem empirically, but I'd like to have some theoretic approach and prepare a simulation model for future application.
In order to do that, I'd like to know if it is possible with Creo Simulate to do this kind of simulation and have an estimation of the residual stress and estimate the warpage of the parts?
