We recently installed Wildfire 2.0 and updated to Simplified Licensing.
At the time of the Wildfire 2.0 load, we also had 2001 loaded and now in
2001, I can't open any .mfg files (I can open them in 2.0, however). The
error message says, "None of the options is ordered, please contact your
sales representative". We have contacted PTC support (spent a total of
45 minutes on hold and 45 minutes talking to tech support) and their
response after 2 days is that they're still looking into it. We did
request and had emailed to us the updated license for 2001 which is
supposed to work with the Simplified License to make 2001 backward
compatible, but it didn't change anything. Has anyone else run into this
and come up with a solution? I really need to get this resolved so I can
work on manufacturing files in 2001.
