Simulate gripper: use correctly constraint and force

Hello community,

I need your support. Which solution is better?

How would you set the constraints and power? Is the solution approach using the creo assembly the right one?

Thank you for your support.

Hallo Community,

Hello,

I have looked at your example. It looks fine to me.

I still have one question. You specified 20kN for the preload force of the bolts. In the bolt calculation graph,

the preload force starts at 16.75kN. How should this be interpreted?

With the preload force of the screw feature, the flexibility of the screwed parts is not known before the calculation.
The screw (spring) is therefore preloaded, causing the flanges to yield slightly, resulting in a slight loss of preload force.
The real preload force is therefore slightly lower than entered.
