Hi all,
I am looking to simulate permanent magnets' interactions based on the magnets' dimensions, distance from one another, orientations, their field strength, and other respective parameters to calculate the force they exert on each other. Is this something that is possible in Creo? Has anybody attempted this in Creo before?
I am open to other non-PTC suggestions for this, too. I know there is magnet simulation software in Python, so maybe I'll take a stab at that.
Thank you in advance!

Creo simulation does not have an electromagnetic simulation tool. Ansys does have EM sim support.

I am not looking for an electromagnetic simulation tool. I am looking for a simulation tool that simulated permanent magnets.
Simulate what regarding permanent magnets? Maxwells equations deal with electromagnetic field theory, is there some magnetic property you are studying that is not covered by this?
The resulting force from permanent magnets interacting is all I'm looking for. I'm sure those equations would help, but I do not believe it is practical for me to work through those equations for this application. This is a rather small detail on a product, and I am only considering the use of magnets.
This should work for you then.

I am looking for something more sophisticated than K&J Magnetics' calculator. For example, what if I am using two magnets that have different sizes? What if they are at an angle to one another? I am looking for something similar to it, but a little more advanced. Thank you for the suggestion, though!
