Hi!,
I would like to analize a structure made by estrusion (see attached file),
but generating mesh is very slow, it i possible to increase the speed of elaboration?
are there any simulation tips to follow in this situation?
Thank you
It depends what you look for. You might use large mesh as default setting and intensify it only where you feel there are bigger gradients. If it is a parte of a bigger assembly (so you are not focused over this extruded bars), you might also use beams by specifying their section in beams' definition.
From datasheet I know Jyy e Jzz but not J
I have to use "Sketch" command?
Yes, you need to sketch your own section.
So what does it mean?
You simply have to put a point where the shear center is within the sketch environment.

H gfraulini Pearl,
Can I use also a shell element to model the structure?
I seem correct but If I see "Review Geometry shell doesn't appears
