Triangular load on a circular beam
Hi guys, I am trying to load a distributed load on a circular beam of outer diameter 15mm and inner 13mm and length 1m. The load has got to start from 50N and linearly decrease to 0. I have tried using the function definition to apply a function of 50-50*X, however the load seems to be evenly distributed. Any ideas thanks very much

The load looks like a moment is defined not a force?? Every point along your beam is at the same WCS X value so that is why it is uniform.
suggestions:
If WCS at right end with +Z axis going left along beam...
Need: Total Load W on the force Y component.
Distributed load per unit length notated as w.
if unit system in meters , w=50N/m, W=50*1/2=25N, f(x) = 1-Z
if unit system in millimeters, w=0.05N/mm, W=0.05*1000/2=25N, f(x) = 1000-Z
Note: Total magnitude W = w*L / 2, where w is the peak force/length.
