Hello proe users....
thank you to all of you who contributed in the solution of this modeling problem.
The best result was achieved using 16 sections along the axis of the bottle in one quadrant, plus the front and side profiles. These sections were joined using a boundary blend function, then mirrored and merged. The dome was created using a separate surface, still using the boundary blend function. Both surfaces were extended and merged.
I have a final question for all of you.
Is it possible to predict how each section (along the axis of the bottle) is going to change due to the shrinkage?
At this point the model does represent the final product, however I need to create the model of the cavity considering the effect of the shrinkage, such that after the cooling stage the bottles will resemble the sample I was provided.
I have attached images of the bottle+sections plus one of the sections.
thanks indeed, regards
Al.
