clockwise and anti clockwise rotation of follower

Make rotate the follower connected to cam in clock wise direction for some angle continued with anti clockwise direction

The curve on cam is such a way that that the follower has to rotate clockwise first for some distance of curve followed by anti clockwise.

Please explain
