pro/e's biggest annoyance - a FOLLOWUP

pro/e's biggest annoyance - a FOLLOWUP

Several people have suggested adding this to the

Max_animation_time 0

Min_animation_steps 0

However, what I've found is that the model still reorients, but now it does
so instantaneously, with no animation. It just "jumps" to the new
orientation. So, still dealing with the issue..

Original question follows:

If there's one thing that bugs me more than anything else with Pro/E, it's
the fact that the screen gets reoriented/panned/zoomed after regeneration.
This is constantly aggravating, has been complained about for years, has
been the subject of numerous enhancement requests, and yet it persists.

Can anyone tell my why this is so hard to fix?

Has anyone found a hidden config option or some other workaround for this?
(note that I'm not talking about in Sketcher mode - in Sketcher, the option

sketcher_refit_after_dim_modify no

does the trick.

Come to think of it, what I really want is something fills that same
function outside of sketcher. Does anything like that exist?

WF2, M100

(let me guess: it's fixed in WF4).
