In AE 6.0 we have some limitations regarding change tracking and tables.
The AE online help is clear :
- Performing most table operations:
- Inserting or deleting rows or columns.
- Changing row height or column width.
- Spanning or unspanning cells.
- Inserting, deleting, or splitting grids.
- Modifying table, cell, border or cell font.
- Modifying table element attributes.
- Note
- Changes made to the contents of cells or directly to table markup will be tracked.
The biggest issue with this limitations is when a user delete some table content (rows, columns, etc.)
- For instance, a user delete a row and the content of the selected row.
- This action occurred without change tracking.
- Conclusion : users are not able to see some content suppression inside table. For some of our customer this is a big issue
Our enhancement request is the following : Enabled change tracking for table operations. At least for deleting operations.
