Allow the stransu.3ad file to be document specific via autoexec call

Allow the stransu.3ad file to be document specific via autoexec call

We would like to associate specific stransu.3ad file to specific *.3d file.

It would be helpful if the default stransu.3ad file loaded on opening ALD could be changed to a different stransu.3ad file once ALD is running.

Maybe it could be 'run' from the autoexec

I want to add "0x3001, 0x3002,0xFF0C, 0xFF0E" to "Yakumo Options".
(I want to change it for each 3d file)

This idea makes it possible.

Please support 'stransu.3ad' with command line parameters.

I wonder if the ALD "bundles" feature supports this file? That was the official way to override system configuration files like stransu.3ad.

Status changed to: Under Consideration

There are two possible approaches to this. The one I favour is being able to switch 'stransu' information in the same manner as we can 'sunipair' in ALD - have a style property which points to a different table of definitions. This would ensure the solution is part of the template and can be switched depending on style requirements.

However, we are also working on the idea of 'Workspaces' - a 'hot swappable' set of system configuration files and libraries so that if (for example) you're working on CustomerA's document but then want to work on CustomerB's, you don't need to restart ALD. Workspaces could also be used to provide pre-packaged swappable interfaces - an Editor interface, a Developer interface, a Page Layout interface etc...

The same method as ‘sunipair’ is also good
