We are working on a solution for this, but it will involve calling out to an external process to convert the MathML via MathJax to an image file.

Have you explored MathML to SVG and pump it through PDFlib Gareth?

I like the idea of using SVG, we've tended to use EPS in the past. I tried SVG just now but can only get it to work as an imported shape (e.g. it turns into an APP .Og drawing), not as a linked file that can be passed-through to PDFLib. Any tips?

We're actively investigating how we can support MathJax in APP. No delivery estimates yet, but research is underway...
