Arbortext Layout Developer (ALD): About 'mapglyph' added to the pseudo font.

I created the following ‘Mix01Go01.Fp’.
-------------------------------------------------- ----
shortname "Mix01Go01"
longname "Mix01Go01"
'A-> B
mapglyph 0x0041, "ShinGoPro-Regular (OpenType)", 0x0023
-------------------------------------------------- ----

When I execute 'tf ="Mix01Go01"', the entered 'A'(Unicode+0041) will be displayed as 'B'(CID/GID+0023).

However, after exporting to PDF, the text exported from PDF will be '#'(Unicode+0023).
(This may be a bug.)

I want to be able to specify the characters used in PDF.

That sounds like a bug to me, although it may be that ALD needs to add support for CID-keyed fonts in the PDF output. AFAIK the PDF output only supports Unicode.

If Acrobat is displaying the correct glyph, then it feels to me like a problem in Acrobat that it isn't gathering the right information - can you please send me your ALD file so I can check it out here?

Thanks

Simon

Upon examination, I found that the root cause was not the 'mapglyph', but the glyph designation.
I will send you a sample for explanation.
