Block gutter ruler

When we use a 2-column frame, we can add a gutter ruler: Frame gutter ruler

Obviously, the gutter stops when the is a spanned paragrah - shown in red.

It would be fine if such a gutter ruler might be defined for a block having 2 or more columns.

Hi Jacques - which block has the rule applied to it? Is there a container for the two columns which has children for the paragraphs and for the blocks which span the two columns?

Hi Simon,

I would like to use a block, containing 2 columns. In the block, I would like to use 'regular' paragraphs (not sub-blocks) on one column or spanned over the 2 columns (just as we do in 2-columns frames).
