When a topic is checked out of ACM using the PTC server connection in Arbortext Editor, it would be really nice to be able to click on a DITA topic image in Arbortext Editor (AE) and have the default image editor open up. I understand that it is possible to do this when a topic from the local file system is opened in AE, but this is not possible when the topic is checked out of ACM using the PTC server connection in AE. This is because the images in a topic are not checked out when you click "Check out all dependents" and subsequently check-out a topic.
