Hi,

It would be great if below points avaialble in external JS debugger...

  • Cursor/Stream synchronization between APP and external JS debugger, may be live scrolling for displayed streams.
  • Auto refreshing, If I update anything in APP debugger should automatically update (Currently, I'm switching tags to see update)
  • Toggle text wrapping in editing area
  • Coloured markup, pi, entities... same as yellow/edit bar (it's available for js/jf)
  • All name spaces displaying in all tag type area, even tags not available in that namespace (tags By Type) 
  • Pop up dialog box for new tag creation, so we can mention the tag type. Now it's create tags silently

Some comments below - I see that this is from 2017, but I have never seen this one before - strange!!

  • Cursor/Stream synchronization between APP and external JS debugger - this would be a tricky one to achieve and I am not sure I see the benefit - can you please explain why you would like this?
  • Auto refreshing - this is almost the same as above, right?
  • Toggle text wrapping in editing area - yes, this would be a good idea
  • Coloured markup, pi, entities - yes, this would also be a good idea
  • All name spaces displaying in all tag type area - we've updated the resource tree in 12.1.2.0, please check that out
  • Pop up dialog box for new tag creation - this has been implemented too

Let me know if you have any further thoughts

This just popped up in my inbox too! I hope you are well mate.

I think the use case we've seen for sync with JS debugger is if we wanted to do something a bit clever, say we show the page preview of APP in the middle of a web browser and use the JS debugger as a way to work with the content (rather than yellow bar). No other use cases come to mind.
