We are developing technical manuals using Arbortext 7.0, M020, published to .pdf and deployed (housed) on a Linux platform (i.e., not Windows)
We would like to be able to include links in the published pdfs that open and play a video file.
A solution provided previously by PTC allowed us to open and play a video file from the published pdf via Windows, but when deployed in Linux tries to open a web page.
After further investigation of adding links to a pdf, I found that there are 3 types: link to another page in the current PDF, link to a URL, and link to a file (open a file). Arbortext has options for the first two - link to another page in the current PDF and link to a URL, but not the third option - open a file.
I would like this third option to be available within Arbortext so that when published, the link will open the specified file.
