oid_xpath_nodeset() does not read atict:del tags and assumes atict::add tags are accepted changes. This enhancment request is to add support for the oid_xpath_nodeset() function to read all arbortext change tracking markup. Because of its support for xpath, oid_xpath_nodeset() is verify efficient at setting oids and building arrays of oids to be used in custom arbortext applications. The equivalent function oid_find_children (which does read Arbortext change tracking markup) requires many more lines of code to accomplish the same results.
