When authoring DITA documents, it makes - of course sense - to make use of DITA-features like the DITAVAL and the KEYMAP/KEYREF-features.
Although being supported for standalone-editing by Arbortext Editor, those valuable feature are missing support when authoring with Windchill Service Information Manager.
Hence there is no ditamap with SIM anymore (at least not for the user), adding the ditaval might be possible, but not selecting anything from the ditaval for publishing, because Windchill SIM has it's own publishing dialogue.
The same applies for the keymap: While those might be added to a publication structure, AE currently lacks the possibility to select a keymap inside Windchill:
Menu -> Insert -> Key
is only able to select local keymap/map-files and no maps inside Windchill.
We'd like to see support for ditaval and keymap/keyref when working with SIM.
