Mechanism to partially accept changes of a change package in case of task owner change.

Mechanism to partially accept changes of a change package in case of task owner change.

We often come across a situation where in the task owner gets changed due to reasons like sick leave and in this case we have various scenarios that we need to handle as listed below:

1)Change package is submitted by Developer 1 with 10 changes

2)Change package reviewer rejects the change package because one change needs to be modified

3)Developer 1 which created the change package and made the changes is not available

4)The task to redo the changes is assigned now to a second developer

5)The second developer has to redo all 10 changes instead of only modifying one

6) -> If we change the owner of Task the related CPs (to that task) should also be updated and the owner will change to the new task owner. The new CP owner shall continue the work in the existing CPs created by his colleague.

Alternatively we can also have another solution to grant the CP admin functions but limited to the dedicated CPs related to a Task acting users are Task Owner or Review Owner.

NOTE:

This solution must be easy and our intention is that a CP admin has not to be involved in that operation. We dont want to assign to the CP admin right to developers because that is a global and powerful permission.
