Of course we're dealing with the problem of legacy-datamigration to Windchill Service Information Manager. We can solve the problem in getting the correct DITA-datastructure, but we cannot solve to automatically set up all structures in Windchll:
Requirement: Therefor, we need a way, to burst a local techinfomap into both an Information Structure and a Publication Structure at the same time, so that the user do not need to reassemble all modules to a publication again, when they already have it locally as DITA-map.
This is somewhat related to ProductIdea “Service Information Manager: Autogeneration of Information Structure”.
We also should be able to put translated content into SIM as well. So, if we have the publications in their master- and all their target-languages, we need to import them in such a way, that the relations between the languages and files are kept intact, as if the file would've been gone through the translation process in SIM.
