Most professional publishing applications support the L*a*b* colour space, and in addition the recent issues of PANTONE PLUS colour books are defined as L*a*b* colours. To stay current, Arbortext and in particular APP must support this colour space. In a current situation, when printing to CMYK, we have discovered that APP PANTONE PLUS colours no longer match the PANTONE PLUS colours supplied in illustrations. This is due to a different mix of inks that are now used to form the PANTONE colours.
