Support for XSL stylesheet parameters in Java compose functions and f=convert HTTP requests

Support for XSL stylesheet parameters in Java compose functions and f=convert HTTP requests

Stylesheet parameters are an integral part of XSL, and many XSL stylesheets can't function properly without information passed in to the processor as stylesheet parameter values.

ACL provides a way to do this, via the "transformerParams" composition parameter. However, there is currently no way to do this using AOM com.arbortext.e3.DocumentConverter.doConvert method, or when using f=convert HTTP request to PE.

I would like to see an additional Document Conversion Parameter added to the list, corresponding to "transformerParams" to allow passing of stylesheet parameters.

I second the motion.

We've had to write a bunch of customisations in the past to get around this type of problem. In fact a generic "stylesheet paramater" mechanism would really help for cases when you want to pass a parameter list to a native APP template too.
