Currently in the Arbortext print engine, PDF bookmarks can be controlled by identifying elements in the DCF as titles.

I would like to be able to generate PDF comments in a similar manner.

Having the ability to generate in-text comments would add another level of usability to our PDF products.

Ideally, I could identify these as "Tips" or some other type of comment (but that's probably a limitation of the PDF spec).

And/or, I would like to be able to have bubble definitions show up for words/phrases.

This has been desirable for quite a while, and in some good news it seems APP 11.0 M040 has just gained a "technology preview" of this feature. I would not be suprised if a production-ready version of this feature ends up appearing in a maintenance release of Arbortext 6.1.
