When trying to import an Excel table into AE 6.1, a message window appears before the content is pasted into the xml. I'm just wondering if anyone else is seeing this message? The Excel table is inserted into the xml, but I'm just wondering why this message appears. Can this window be disabled?
Solved! Go to Solution.
We are currently moving from XML to DITA. Some users are still accessing both, therefore, we have both the Docbook and the DITA aptcustom running. We discovered that running both has caused this issue. Once we remove one the error disappears. In order to resolve this issue, temporarily, we will create batch files for them to launch either AE with docbook or AE with DITA.
The message above also appears if the user is simply creating a table in the xml. Is there something new with AE 6.1 M060?
Unfortunately, the only time this issue has been reported to TS was when custom scripts were involved, the client was using an insert_tag callback function in globaled.acl. That function is calling tbl_row_count() which gives that error. That’s an old way of making that determination and that function gives the error if you’re not inside a table. If you're not using any custom code, then you may wish to consider opening a ticket with TS for this.
