ACL edit command

I am trying to use ACL to manipulate the current file, save it to a new
name, and then bring up the old file again. I have everything working
except when I try to bring up the old file using the 'edit' command, I
seem to lose the attached ACL code. Does anyone know whether the
sourced ACL code is gone when an 'edit' command is performed (or if
there is a better way of doing what I am trying to do). Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am using Adept 5.4.1.

Well no, the edit command should not dump any ACL you have loaded.
Try using the -current option of the edit command (if you're not
already).

John,

where are you sourcing the ACL code? in a pubrc? doctype.cmd?
