AVI or MPEG support to save animation

Hello,

As known, IsoDraw can produce animation (assembly-disassembly of components, rotation, etc.). This animation can be played in Internet Explorer by IsoView plug-in only. For end user it is not always convenient (need to apply plugin, disable pop-up blocking). At last, IsoView require expensive license. This can limit the use of IsoDraw/IsoView to prepare animations. In any case, to show avi file is moreeasythen display animation in IsoView plugin.

I guess, it would be good feature for IsoDraw can save animationin avi or mpeg file. Does somebody think this?

Alexander,

As a simple work around for this sort of issue,I use a simple screen capture package like BB Flashback to convert to mpeg - not an issue for quality because its a small pixel count to start with.

I agree with Sean. I use Camtasia. We have the IsoView software but it is so expensive and an unfair burdon to place on customers who which to view .iso files, we do our animations in other programs.

TheIsoView plugin used to be free. IsoDraw animations had a lot more potential back then, but now it's too expensive just to view.
