Another Adobe Illustrator CS3 to Isodraw question...

Hi, I have read all the topics about (downsaving to AI7 or 😎 bringing in AI files into IsoDraw. This works for me. I was talking to one of the PTC Regional directors - he told me that they are working on a smoother transition from AI to ID. As I see it the AI is converted to an image when brought into ID and it cannot be edited - is this a fact? Thanks, Jim

If you use AI version 7 to import into IsoDraw, the art remains vector. It also maintains groupings as well as layers.
