The install is interactive. AFAIK, there's no batch command line install.
You can create what's called a "deployment" using the Deployment Kit that comes with 5.4. It requires a concurrent license, but you can create an install version (with DTDs and custom components), and make it available for downloadable install by web. This is probably not quite what you're looking for but may be a step in that direction.
