Arbortext Editor style sheet updation.

Dear all,

Could anybody help me to find the details about style sheet updation procedure. We are updating style sheet from 5.4 to 6 version, we are looking answer for below mentioned questions:

1) What is the standard procedure to update the style sheet?

2) Is it effect the definitions of style sheet 5.4 when we update to 6?

3) If it effects how to identify the damages of definitions?

1. Install 6.0, load 5.4 doctype and sample file into 6.0. 6.0 will prompt to update stylesheet to 6.0 format, click OK.

2. Quite possibly, yes.

3. You should run a good series of before and after test jobs - eg. get PDFs from 5.4 and compare to output in 6.0 to see what is different. This takes some time and effort but is unavoidable.
