Arbortext pi MENTORPATH

Hi there,

lately I've seen a tag in round brackets "pi MENTORPATH" for the first time. Does anyone know what it means?

Thanks a lot for any help and enjoy the rest of the day!

Hi Helmut,

All Arbortext-specific processing instructions start with <?Pub ...?>. If it has something other than "Pub" it was put there by another program. Unlike third-party pis, Arbortext pis can affect PDF output when used with Arbortext composition processes. The one you noticed is not Arbortext-specific and is ignored by Arbortext.

PI means "Processing Instruction". It is basically an application-specific indicator that has no effect on the structure or content of your document. You can read more online, eg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Processing_Instruction
