Hello
considering latest version as per today of Arbotext and Solidworks, I am trying to figure out if Arbotext support Solidworks and if so, is the integration as good as with Creo?
Is there any posts, tutorial etc.. that I have not managed to find that discuss the pros and cons and the differences.
Thanks
Hi Chris--
There is no built-in support for SolidWorks in Arbortext Editor and Publishing Engine. If you are going that route, you will probably need to use SolidWorks tools to save your figures in a format that Arbortext supports, such as CGM or EPS.

Hi Chris--
Another approach to consider would be to use Creo Illustrate as the "glue" between Arbortext and SolidWorks. Creo Illustrate can read SolidWorks files (.sldasm), provides tools for creating figures, sequences, and animations, adding callouts and annotations, etc. You can then publish the results in Arbortext-friendly format for including with your Arbortext-based documentation.
