DLM prompt when opening Epic 5.2

Adepters-

Every time I open Epic and PE Interactive, I get a prompt saying-

"Unable to obtain a license for optional component Arbortext Dynamic Link Manager."

I've gone to the preferences and unticked everythink in the DLM portion of the preferences but it still won't go away. I just want it to go away, but neither shouting, bribery, threatening or asking nicely seems to do the job, so I ask you.

Thanks in advance!

class=721445116-26022006>Track down your lib\feature.cf file and see if that
(still?) controls whether or not Epic/PE attempts to load that component. At
least in previous versions, this is an on/off configuration file for the
optional components.

To avoid the message "Unable to obtain a license for optional component Arbortext Dynamic Link Manager.", you have to edit the file "C:\Program Files\Arbortext\Epic52\lib\feature.cf" and modified the line like this "set featureDLM=off".

Ed is right on the money here. I
posted this when I installed 5.2 last week. I'll repeat my experience.

If you install Epic with the COMPLETE
option, Epic will install EVERYTHING, including the Documentum adapters.
Now some of what is installed may never come back to haunt you, but
the DLM tries to run every time Epic is started.

The other solution of editing the feature.cf
file will work as well, but you now have unlicensed features taking up
disk space and potentially becoming a problem waiting to happen.

So when you are ready to install Epic
5.2, choose either the typical or custom options. If you have other
licenses that are not already selected then use custom, otherwise, I think
typical will work for most installations. When in doubt select custom
and make sure all your features are checked.
