DTD and other Doctype Files being deleted

I have a user that is experiencing a very disconcerting problem. When
he compiles a doctype using Arbortext 5.2, everything in the doctype
directory is being deleted except for the pro file and any sgml file.
The dtd, fosi, dcf and everything else is gone. Is this an added ...
"feature"? Anyone seen this before?

No, we don't have any feature like this. Any change that your user has a
redefinition of the compile doctype command?

Does he get a dtgen.log or a [doctypename].log file anywhere?
