Damaged files

Sometimes we have found that Isodraw crashes (do not know why), and the files we were working on become unusable (I suppose because the files are not fully written on the network drive). Is there a way to recover those files that have taken 1 day of works or at least some parts of them? Thanx in advance

Hello Maura, unfortunately it is not possible for the user to repair damaged files. Finding reasons for the behavior that you described is always difficult, but I recommend observing by what this may be caused. Feel free to contact the PTC support with this matter. You should provide information about the Network environment (Type of server, Server software, etc.), the PC environment and a description what you usually do, when working (mainly on or with raster files, or 3D conversion or just changing text elements, etc.). I can not promise that the reason may be found immediately, but we should give it a try. The only thing that you can do in the meantime is to work locally on the files and then copy them manually on the network drive when the work is finished (recommended in general). Regards, Christian
